Spanish Language Education
From Spain to Mexico and throughout most of South and Central America, Spanish is one of the most prevalent languages in the world. In fact, recent statistics have shown that upwards of 500 million people across the world are Spanish speakers. Considering these figures, it's no surprise that a growing number of individuals, children and adults alike, are flocking to learn the popular language. Spanish language education can take many forms, from the classroom to travel abroad. Nevertheless, no matter the approach one takes, a structured lesson plan is one of the primary keys to success. Fully understanding a language goes far beyond than speaking it--it also includes important listening, writing and reading skills. At All Bilingual Press, we have developed a comprehensive curriculum designed specifically for children beginning to learn the language. Divided into three parts, our method includes a 24-chapter textbook designed to teach vocabulary and sentence structure. Our exercise manual includes a wide variety of exercises and games that connect directly with the lessons from the textbook. In unison, these two books offer a structured learning program design to provide your child with a solid base in Spanish. Since the most common use for a language is the spoken form, it is important for students to understand proper pronunciation, while also being capable of recognizing words when they hear them. In written form a word can be easy to distinguish--in a spoken sentence, it isn't always as obvious. To that end, learning a language requires the development of listening skills. Our included audio CD, works in conjunction with our two books, completing the essential pillars of a student's Spanish language education.
